Rhonda has a Master of Arts degree in International Affairs and lived and worked in Asia for 10 years, first as a Canadian diplomat in India and Thailand, and then as an immigration consultant. Rhonda is a part time instructor at the University of British Columbia's "Certificate in Immigration: Laws, Policies and Procedures". She is a member of the Canadian Association of Immigration Consultants (CAPIC). From 2006 -2009, she was the National Secretary of CAPIC. Rhonda passed the threshold exam for the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (CSIC) and was asked in 2005 to help develop the full knowledge exam for CSIC members. A full member of CSIC and a Certified Canadian Immigration Consultant, Rhonda is an expert in many aspects of Canadian immigration. She is best qualified to be representing Universal Migration Ltd clients as an authorized representative. There are two ways you can immigrate to Canada, either on a permanent basis or temporarily. Permanent Residents According to Canadian Law, permanent residents of Canada have the right to live, study and work in Canada for as along as they maintain their Canada Permanent Resident status. Temporary Residents These visas are for people who do not wish to emigrate on a permanent basis, but have a confirmed job offer to address skill shortages and also for students who wish to undertake courses at Canadian Educational Institutions.
