Tier 5 Temporary Worker – Guidelines for Application

This visa category is for people wishing to come to the UK for temporary work with a job offer for a specific amount of time.  It  includes the following types of employment:

• Creative and sporting - for people coming to the United Kingdom to work or perform as sportspeople, entertainers or creative artists.
• Charity Work – unpaid voluntary work
• Religious Workers
• Government and international schemes

This category will also include the previous Working Holidaymaker Scheme (only for participating countries).  It will only be applicable to British Overseas Citizens or British Overseas Nationals.

Applicants will be awarded 30 points if sponsored by a UK licenced sponsor and 10 points for maintenance (funds) which is holding £800 in their bank account for a minimum of 3 months prior to the application.
