While studying, international students are allowed to work part-time (20 hours) during school, and full-time (40 hours) during vacations.
After graduation, students are allowed to remain in Ireland and seek employment for 2 years. From there, you may be eligible to apply for a Green Card or Work Permit Scheme to stay longer and eventually settle
The academic year for universities in Ireland is September-June, with optional intakes at January and May for particular courses.
Requirements vary based on institutions and selected courses. Students must meet the minimum English language requirement, ILETS score of 6.5 (but may be higher for particular courses), and a minimum academic record of 65% in humanities or 70-80% for STEM courses.
